Trauma-Informed Encouragement

I hope out of all our journeying here together, we are more encouraged to speak and share more instead of getting the other way around. It’s not about what you say but how people interpret makes misunderstanding and miscommunication. We live and act with all good intentions here but our previous and past experiences in our life (with trauma, drama, etc) are embodied in us, which makes more fight, flight, freeze or flock in our responses. That’s why I put some notes while we’re sharing to prevent unexpected interpretations or responses.

When the genuine sharing or truth is delivered with religiosity or forceful pressure (you should do it, well, it’s everywhere in all systems), it re-traumatizes people. A lot of times, it’s not the truth teller’s intention but it’s a normal response of people in this broken world to survive.

We are here to be free in Christ’s grace. All things and interactions are covered by God’s unconditional love and grace. We’re imperfect so there’ll be continued miscommunication, self-blame, or judging others. But who we are in God (beloved children by his mercy) can’t stop our journeying together because we do “Who Cares” to what we all do.

Let God CARE for everything as we cast all our wishes and prayers to him. Let’s be just children of God, to love Him and love one another continually no matter what. Let’s set us free from all guilt and shame that Jesus crucified with him on the cross. Let’s love more, hope more, and care more for one another as we keep Being, Being With, Belonging, Abiding, and Journeying together to Become like Christ.

Our weaving and cleaving keep going, forming our TFC family with deeper belonging and multiplying this cause to the broken world. We’re chosen for this divine cause at such a time when we are now in this divided and hurt world. Love you all 🥰
