Choice by grace rather than by self-willed-strength

Most trauma-informed care, which I love most than other resources, whether it’s Christian-based or science-based, still falls back to depending on self-will and strength. I don’t want people to be pushovers or doormats either. However, don’t jump to conclusions and immediate trial of action. Before that…..

Have time to breathe in God’s love more deeply. Have more time with God in his presence and love more. Mediate and reflect on him, his love, his way… be regulated, grounded, and centered. Be a recipient of love. Forgive yourself and God’s unconditional love and compassion. Wait and rest until Jesus wakes you up after a good resting in his arms of love… Resting as Being happened in Genesis 1-2. But we are children of Genesis 3. We are born with survival brain and fear. So just try each day :) We can’t complete ourselves by ourselves, but only by the grace, we receive through Jesus. Shalom!

Let me show you Pater Yoo’s suggested TIC verse in the Bible, no one thought about it as intriguing… meditate and study this:

Song of Songs 8:4

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem,

do not stir up or awaken love

until it is ready!

One of my most favorite Bible verses (I don’t think people even read my two favorite books in the Bible one time in their life; Song of Songs (Solomons) and Ecclesiastes, LOL)

Song of Songs 8:6

Set me as a seal upon your heart,

as a seal upon your arm;

for love is strong as death,

passion fierce as the grave.

Its flashes are flashes of fire,

a raging flame.

I teach trauma is not just about healing. It’s also about justice. But the full recovery comes when you have a passionate romance with God.

Sorry if it’s too provocative… TFC trauma-informed care… shalom, justice and romance… I love it, hope you do so… 😆😎
