Insecurity in decisions

Each day we try to follow Jesus and it’s not easy as we feel in the foggy land with unclear voices and lots of self-thought-driven fear. That’s our existential reality as God’s children, already save but not yet wholly glorified with Jesus’ coming.

So,

Declare what Jesus declared first to his disciples after the resurrection. “Shalom!” Let our Lord’s peace and being whole rule over our hearts, soul, mind, and body. That’s our faith-based regulation so it can come up with some movement of worship, praise, whatever interaction between God and is.

Then,

“Trust!” that whatever we make the decision, it’s in all God’s hands consciously and unconsciously. In other words, we are safe in Him whatever we do wherever we are. If we make mistakes, he doesn’t blame us. He still leads us in the same grace, love, and power. It all turns out for good in the end. So release all good-willed anxiety to follow Jesus.

So do what Paul said to us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

This is our Jesus followers, Regulate and Relate.

Now,

Time for being mindful and Reason.

Receiving his unconditional love, try to rest, listen and follow, God will speak through your inner-being and with some other clues if you need them as confirmation. Don’t lose the peace and love of God in this process. If you are afraid or losing peace, stop everything. Go back to Regulate and Relate.

Nothing clear? No worries, trust his Presence and guidance even when we’re in dark land without any clue so the only thing we can say is, “Jesus!”

As he promised, he is our Emmanuel God. He is always “WITH” us.

So our life says finally,

“Who cares?”

Cause “God cares!” 😂

We are on the Journey Anchored in Christ’s Love. I taught about the journey with detours 15 years ago when I was doing spiritual direction teaching at ASU with TFC members.

It’s all good even though we are on a detour. Many Bible figures took it, like Moses.

I took lots of detours in my life, even a period of thinking to quit my life. But look at me now…

Well, I don’t mean we should take a wrong decision, haha, don’t get me wrong.

When urgent need threats us, trauma-transformed disciples will pursue more pause and peace in God’s unconditional love, which is more important than anything. We try to remove all thorns and rocks against that Shalom in Jesus first regardless of all needs for immediate action as we are God’s beloved Being than doing.

So as we recover our peace and trust, things will be cleared by God who is in control of whether I make my own move or not. Waiting in God is very risky for human pragmatic life needs. But once you are disciplined on this with your love and commitment to God, he will let you be in his path slowly, getting into a deeper journey with you.

This is not only my preaching or teaching. I am sharing my best strategy I tried in my whole life, risking everything in my life choices and needs. I don’t want to force this on you all so many times I am just being quiet to be with you many times in our journey and discipleship together.

It’s totally self-willed and self-committed following Jesus because he chose and loved us first.

We all love to watch movies, and read novels about a love that takes risks, and threats but win over adversities in the end, which cherish our heart.

Our God is doing it with us. Let’s embrace it with full passion, answering the question Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?”

If we love him, we follow whatever it takes. What a beautiful and powerful love story that Jesus is excited with each one of us to create in our life journey together!

So let’s be in peace and trust, which is consistent with what I am saying here.

And let’s be excited for today’s and future steps with Jesus and our TFC family here together.

Let’s release all anxiousness and worries with Let Go, Let God.

Let’s be humble but joyful child, being happy with our Dad, Abba Father in heaven.

Let’s breathe in His peace and grace as we breathe out our fleshly and earthly life fear and struggles.

Let’s trust him and let our mind and body move as trusting he is with us all the time and till the end of the world as he promised.

Let’s give thanks to him as we are chosen by his grace, not by our work.

Let’s worship and honor him as he is our Way and the King.

Praise Jesus 🙌✝️🙏

Love you all 🤗😍😌
